Just recently I took the opportunity to take some photos as I dropped off my folks at the airport. Aim was to capture some emotions, but at the same time not take photos that are too sharp to identify individuals.

I took the X-T30ii with the Fuji 50 mm f2 prime with me. I figured a camera without image stabilisation won’t be as sharp in the evening, and f2 would compensate for lower light. I was hoping 50 mm (75 mm full frame equivalent) would allow me to be far enough away that I didn’t interrupt people. While that was kind of achieved, it is still too close for me if I want to capture actual facial expressions.

All photos are straight out of the camera without any edits. I used the Nightwalker film recipe to get a bit of a film look. I did crop a couple of them to remove some distractions. It is hard to frame shots exactly the way I want with a lot of moving people.
